The South Metro Public Safety Training Facility is a state-of-the-art firefighting and law enforcement training facility.
We offer leading edge resources and opportunities to public safety personnel to ensure the highest quality training possible.
Facilities include classrooms, tactical gym, firearms simulators, two gun ranges, and a live fire training tower, etc. Courses include MN POST Board accredited classes, investigation techniques, train the trainer classes, firearms instruction, etc.

For access to our facilities and courses reserved for our law enforcement and firefighting officers, one must be a member.
The South Metro Public Safety Training Facility operates under a joint powers agreement between the Cities of Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, and the Metropolitan Airports Commission.
The facility provides a variety of police and fire training opportunities in a 28,000 square foot, two-building campus on a 3 1/2 acre site. It is conveniently located in the northeast corner of Hwys 169 and 494 in Edina MN.
