Who should attend: This seminar is designed for both civilian/sworn personnel with custodial duties and
those responsible for the management of these functions including supervisors and executives. Agency
size often impacts involved storage variables – presented materials can identify employable options to
preserve evidence integrity from unwarranted courtroom challenges.
These often out of sight – out of mind minutia level duties, if neglected have insidious damage potentials.
Criminal prosecution efforts combined with an agency’s public reputation and simultaneously the careers of
its Chief/Sheriff downwards to assigned custodians have repeatedly been irreparably damaged for failing to
continuously and appropriately manage this assignment.
Systematic evidence storage duties are often assigned with little or no functional training. The involved
transactional procedures require efforts uncommon to other business type storage facilities. This one-day
best practice course is designed for managing a professional evidence storage operation.

leaders for command level positions As part of the Trilogy series of
leadership courses, the Command Leadership Institute focuses on real life
contemporary strategies and techniques for those aspiring to or in already in
command level assignments Students will be engaged in such topics as
command responsibility, discipline and liability, team building, resilient
leadership, and leading change within an organization. The cost of the Command Leadership Institute is $695.

Sworn and professional law enforcement staff are welcome to all FBI-LEEDA courses.  You do not have to be a member to attend a course. Each student must register for courses under their own Username and Account.

COURSE OVERALL LEARNING GOAL:

Objectives for the basic course are 1) to provide the fundamentals necessary to conduct a proper interview and interrogation, 2) to provide a structured frame of reference for those interviewers who have some experience but also may not have had any formal training in the area and 3) to improve the efficiency of all participants in obtraining the truth from suspects, witnesses and victims in a legally acceptable manner.

Objectives for the advanced course are 1) to provide additional tactics and techniques designed to obtain confessions from the deceptive suspect in more expedient manner, 2) to provide finesse tactics dealing with the psychology of interrogation to enhance the investigators ability to acquire confessions that might not have otherwise been obtained and 3) to provide a logical guideline that may be used to profile out any type of suspect for interrogation.
