COURSE OVERALL LEARNING GOAL:

As believers, we place faith in God for protection, but we must also take personal responsibility to keep our communities and families safe. One person, intent on doing harm, can destroy countless lives. It can happen in a flash. Sadly, we live in a time where violence knows no boundaries. It’s in our schools, our places of work, and even our places of worship!

Join us for Securing your Place of Worship: Firearms Awareness class and hear from three experts in the field of worship safety, litigation law and risk management. This 2 ½ -hour class is designed to expand your knowledge about your right to carry a deadly force weapon in a church environment.

Why is this course different? If your church has decided to have armed security or is in the process of deciding to arm, then this class is for you and your leadership team. You will hear about church case studies on deadly force incidents, learn your rights from an expert attorney, advance your situational awareness through interactive learning and receive insight as to how to manage your risk carrying a firearm in a church.

This class is orientated towards those that want to conceal and carry in houses of worship or church leaders overseeing safety programs. This is also a great course for any small business owner, community member or those considering applying for their state permit to carry.
